Nature. Shirin-yoku. Eco-psychology.

Yama means “mountain” in Japanese. Deeply rooted, mountains rise out of the earth and touch the sky. Vast, still, un-moving. As parents, we tap into our own childhood to lay the foundation for our own families, passed down from generations before. We strive to represent stability and teach our children resilience. Like the peaks and valleys of Earth’s mountains, so are the ups and downs of the ancient art of parenting.
